North Western Models Acquires Todmorden Model Supplies Stock.

The purchase comes after TMS made the decision to no longer continue at exhibitions after Covid, leaving the gap for a suitable tool supplier to take their place. TMS asked if NWM would be interested in acquiring its stock and supplier contacts, after a steady discussion an agreement was made.

The next 12 months will see the full transfer of products and supply chain take place, this move will provide NWM with a huge increase in the tools and materials area of the online store which is something that’s already been steadily growing alongside the vast range of detailing kits and accessories over the last few years.

While it is sad to see TMS close its doors its good to know its vast range of products will still be available from a well known and reputable store on the exhibition circuit.

North Western Models was established in 2015 by Kevin Colley and Christopher Gore as an online model shop based in Stockport, Cheshire. Initially dealing with high quality detailing accessories and kits, North Western Models prides itself in serving the model railway community to promote the notion that detailing helps to bring a model railway to life.

Kevin and Christopher have a lifelong passion with railways in general and also with model railways. Between them, they have planned, built and exhibited a number of layouts in 00 and N gauge at various local model shows.
