How to clean model railway track.
Model railway track will get dirty, dust fluff and just running trains will create dirt on the track, for good running its essential that this is maintained.
There are a number of cleaning products out there, the most common is a track rubber or some form of light spirits such as methylated spirits on a cloth, just on the top of the rail, don’t get it on the plastic sleepers, as it can cause damage. Additionally the wheels should be kept clean on your locomotives and stock to help ensure good running.
