The principal freight traffic on the Festiniog Railway was the carrage of finished slate from the quarries of blaanau Festiniog to the port of Porthmadog. Specially designed slate wagons were provided for this traffic. the most common being the steel sided 2 ton wagon.
This kit contains the parts to make up a single 2T Steel Sided Slate wagon.
This kit will require 1 pack of the following BEMO type coupling, which can be found here: Stepped couplings (2 pack)
