Throughout the Midland Railway (MR) network could be found such typical water cranes on station platforms for steam locomotives to use. Water cranes and columns were provided with fire devils for use in winter to prevent the water from freezing inside the apparatus.
This is cast in white metal and will require assembly and painting before you place on your layout.
